Hi,
I purchased Swift D’zire VXI from Mandovi Motors(Cox town, Bangalore) on 10th december 2008. Dealer service is excellent, specially the sales person was too friendly and helpded me to choose the appropriate car for my use . Initially I booked Swift Ldi, but since the waiting period was more and Petrol prices also came down, I decided to fo a Sedan vehicle from Maruti and in 6L range Swift D’zire is the best vehicle in this class.
I am driving this vehicle now for more than 1 and half months now and let me tell you the advantage of this car:
1) compared to my earlier Alto car this car has a very good pulling power,
2) plenty of boot space while you would like to go for long drive with your family,
3) better comfort specially in dumpy road, pin drop silence inside the car
4) very good music system(company fitted), better sitting arrangement for front and rear,
5) Good leg space both fron and rear
6) Very comfortable for city driving
7) Powerful A/C system
8) Smooth gear change
9) Nice power steering
Now something not good about this car:
1) Poor rear visibility
2) Mileage is about 10 -11 per litre in City
3) Seats are not very spongy, but acceptable
Overall it’s a very good car and if you are looking for a Sedan type vehicle in 6L range than this is the vehicle you should go for .Recently I made a trip to Mysore and this vehicle performs far better than other vehicles in case of long drive and you will still not feel tired while driving it .
Recently I have completed my first servicing and engine performance is better now.
I will provide more details in future .
I am writing my experience after completiong of 6 months of my car .
Please find below some of my findings:
1) Power steering became more smooth after 2nd servicing
2)Mileage you can expect now about 12 KM/Ltr
3)Gear changing is semaless
4)Engine pickup is more visible once I completed 5000 KM, incomparision to what I felt just after purchase . You will be more comfortable on highways.
5)Now I become accustomed to poor rear view and it does not make me uncomfortable while parking my car even in a conjusted surrounding.
