I had been driving Maruti Omni for more than 9 years and wanted to change and just moved to Dzire LDI.
Reasons for purchasing Dzire LDI are
Wanted some comfort on these BAD roads(Gift of Government!).
Reduce my running costs.(Bengalureans pay the highest fuel rates in India. Rs. 7 more than Delhites).
Expected better sales after services(Customer Happiness) and easy to pocket.
Company which has got a well established Service Network and Offcoarse the TRUST.
Coming to selection of Swift Dzire LDI:
Cheaper than compared to VDI or ZDI.
Sales manager of RNS informed that
-Cost of built in accessories will not meet some recent expectations such as the Music system not compatible with USB.
-Power Windows can be attached later. Manual system is always better since it can be repaired by anybody within minutes where as if the power windows get stuck. Come all the way back to the right person or company.
-Delay in Delivery if booked for VDI or ZDI. ZDI delivery gets delayed due to non-availability of Airbags and ABS.
Offcourse Safety features available in ZDI like airbags and ABS are not available in other models, but again it depends on each ones perception. People who look at speed thinks of ABS and Airbags. Anyway the comfort given by the recent technology cars are good enough with good braking system.
