Maruti are planning for another entry level sedan sector move out as it worked out in case of Zen. The car looks as if LPG or CNG has exploded in boot .The diesel engine is superb performer and is already tested in swift, so those who want jus status symbol of sedan can opt for it. But from inside it seems as if one is driving swift . Actually now a days maruti has three basic engine platforms like 1161 wagonR or alto Vx engine. 799 Alto Lx or maruti 800 engine. 1298 esteem, versa, swift engine. Nowadys the market is to introduce new metal boxes with some new features on same engines. Nobody knows when it will be absorbed back like Zen classic and Zen estilo. If one is required to compare the phased out of esteem with desire there are no matches. All aluminum engine of esteem makes it lighter and fuel efficient. Further there are no matches to the looks as well.
