This is my first car purchase.
Initially I wanted to get a small car, then I said to myself pay 1 lakh or so more and get an entry level seden. So what was earlier santro vs swift vs getz had now become logan vs logan vs logan. Yes, I was impressedby logan, particularly because of its Renault/european build quality which will be unmatchable in India.
I was almost certain about booking a logan as the price was decent and it offered good space and etc etc. But then I read the news about Swift dzire, I saw the pics in Internet, was not impressed with the side looks, which was horrible.
On Apr 2, I went to book Logan in chennai, India Garage. Something told me to just go and have a look at Swift Dzire which was only 1km away in Khivraj Showroom. When I saw the Dzire, I was amazed and happy that I had’nt booked logan. Dzire looked awsome, better than how it looks in picture.

Better engine- performance.
The areas where logan beats Dzire:
Better space
European build quality.
Better mileage.
