I am a not-so-proud owner of Swift VXi, about to complete 1 year in a couple of weeks(with 3600 KM run). I have had gone thru the other reviews which praise Swift. Dont get carried away by the hype. I am facing a problem with my car, which none of the so called experts at the Servicing station could rectify(even after approaching those people for about 4 times for the same problem). When you pass over even a little rough hard road, even at lower speeds, the vehicle makes a lot of rattling sound(which the servicing people say is from the steering wheel column and some other mechanical stuff).
When I have finally posted a complaint with the maruti, the servicing station people called me back in hurry and said they will rectify the problem in no time(as usual saying that this is a Known Problem & that they are aware of the solution to the problem). I sincerely took my vehicle again to the station, and the story repeats.
None at the Service Centers, I believe are well trained for swift. The sounds from all around the vehicle, really make me think of a tractor, especially when passing over rough surface.
I advice to re-think(on any of Maruti) before deciding for it, especially the downgraded versions brought-in from the foreign models.
