I drove the car yesterday. Don’t have much good to say abt it.
Cheap interiors, water filled in side lights (near door of car), cheap plastic window buttons, rattling noise from the back, stained plastic dashboard.
Drove the Getz immediately after that. Have a newfound respect fr the Getz after driving the swift.
Btw how have ppl given a 5 star rating to swift on dates which are even before the launch of the car??? plz modify ur opinions after seeing/driving the car.
Am editing the review slightly coz ppl wanted to know details of what was bad in the swift.
The engine is the same old esteem engine which has been slightly refined. It is not the same engine thats been sold in Japan and Hungary. The experts gave the swift a thumbs up coz they thought we were gonna have the same Japanese engine.
THE INTERIORS ARE THE CHEAPEST I HAVE EVER SEEN.
I still feel the esteem drives better than the swift and ppl should either consider the Esteem or the Getz instead of the swift.
I already have an esteem which I love and hence I would buy a getz if I really had to buy a car now. Am hoping Hyundai gives some discounts after the launch of the Swift coz at 5.4 on road it is slightly expensive. Do drive the getz before you book your swift. U’ll be shocked to see the differemce between the 2 cars.
