Hey Guys, The Jus got back from a Maruti Showroom. The New Swift is jus amazing ( but isn’t every body saying the same).
Got to test drive it and was very impressed except that the power dint seem all that great in 2nd gear probably because of the AC. It felt very smooth and also felt very steady.
The Vxi at 463300(on road/Bangalore) is what will be most successful as it has all 4 power windows, central locking for 4 doors, fog lamps, etc etc for jus 20 grand more from the basic model. We were contemplating buying a Santro but luckily we waited, and fortunate for us the Swift came by.
My only concern is the mileage, the guy in the showroom said that they were told during the training it would be around 13 kpl within city limits but were waiting for feedback from their clients about the actual performance.
