When I bought my Swift last month in exchange to my Alto, it seemed to be the best ever decision of my life. However I would like to share my experience with all who propably are looking out to own one.
My joy came to an end immediately as I took the delivery of my Swift, the ride was extremely hard as if the vehicle had no shocks & suspensions, also all 5 doors (including the hatch) made squeeky noises which got ampilified if driven on uneven roads (very common in Mumbai, specially the western express highway)
I wrote to Maruti Udyog thru their website & they asked me to show it to their service centre, which I did but though the ride became better the doors continue to rattle.
I must warn all Swift aspirants that besides the engine the cabin build quality is extremely poor. For instant self check, try closing the front doors with windows rolled down (I have checked this on Vxi variants) the usual pleasant thud of the door reduces to a sound of a door that is loosely integrated.
