I got my sunlight copper swift vxi late September after an anxious 2 months’ wait that was totally worth it! I wanted a car tat was highly fuel efficient and maintenance free. All in all, what I wanted was peace of mind.
With the bombardment of new brands and models that had inundated the Indian auto industry this year, I had plenty of options. In my budget I considered i10, figo, polo, new wagon r, beat etc. But at the end of the day looking at my requirements quoted above I knew that the best option was the Swift…….reliable and fuel efficient.
With every second car on the road being white or silver in colour, I really wanted something young and jazzy or myself and went for the sunlight copper colour. Although, all dealers tried to talk me out of it by giving reasons of long waiting periods for that colour, I had already made up my mind. Eventually I had got the car delivered in approx. 50 days of booking.
Now, the facts. The colour is simply amazing and the ride is smooth although, the plastic used as my fellow Swifters would agree is cheap to say the least. I was really anxious about the mileage as that was my prime concern and I had compromised buying newer car models in light of my priority of fuel-efficiency.
The dear Swift absolutely met my expectations. Till the first servicing of 1000kms, it gave me a 15.5/l mileage and after the first servicing it has increased to 16.25/l and I have driven some 1700kms till date. I’ am absolutely happy that I made the right choice and went for the Swift. It surely IS all that it claims to be.
So, to all those junta who want a hassle free, maintenance free and a fuel efficient drive, don’t think twice, just go ahead with the market leader and book your Swift!
