This could be little too early writing about my dream car Swift Zxi (Jet Black).
Yes, Dream car. I had done lot of research before going for this car.
Indica and Indigo. (Trashed the idea
after learning that their only positive point is average), Santro, Wagon R and off course Getz. Somehow I could not control my flow towards Swift Zxi. Its soooooooo beautifuuuuuuul.
I have done only 220 kms by now (in one week), so cannot talk about average (which is talked more about this car, second to its looks).
One thing for sure it is damn silent, smart, smooth, starry, sexy, sporty, smoochy car. When in ON condition during idling sound of its engine is lesser than silence. When it revs the sound is nice to hear. Pickup from standstill to 20kmph on first gear is bit sluggish (maybe because of the gears’ ratio which in turn give good average) but after that on the second and above gears it just vrooms ahead like anything of other cars (similar type). During the turn its grip over the road is amazing. Auto Climate control is wonderful (insta cool).
Some things, I did not like or which bit me is they should have increased the boot and dicky space. This is precisely where it has lost in front of Getz. Getz is more practical than Swift only in that sense. After tagging Zxi at a very high price they could have very well provided with a digital clock. Over and above that they have not provided electric Rear View Mirrors (They have provided this feature in the lower end new Wagon R but not in the car pricing around 1.6 lakhs more, this I came to know during delivery).
Inspite of these drawbacks this car is driver’s pleasure. You will love to drive it.
Last but not the least I have good experience about the dealer M/s Navnit Motors, Thane. There was abit of confusion in between over the delivery timelines. Had it not been for the timely intervention of one of there representative (Mr.Neerav), my decision could have been otherwise. They are receptive, professional but sincere to your queries. Inspite of having so many Customers and you having paid everything they are still careful and respectful in their talks to you as if you are the only customer to them.
This much review is sufficient for the time being. I will get back to this review after 6-12 month when I have still clear and proper understanding of this car.
