I got my new Swift VDI delivered a month back and am in complete love with it. There isn’t a better car than the New Swift in its category(Price range 6 - 7 lakhs). The makers promise a mileage of 23 Kmpl and guess what I am getting about 21 Kmpl average. I have done about 1400 Kms with it mostly on the city roads and a few Kms in the Highway.
The space inside the car has definitely improved to a noticeable extent.
The quality of the interiors has also improved to a great extent definitely much better than the previous one. the dash and its parts have a classy touch to them.
The’Fun to drive engine’ is the best part about the swift(It always has been one of the main look-for in the Swift) I won’t be shy of calling the Swift engine’a Driver’s dream’.
I am not a big fan of the modified shape(the small changes done here and there) though. still believe the exterior of the old swift looks better than the new one.
The boot looks a lil small maybe because of the altered rear bumpers.
All in all the New Swift is a very good buy in its range far ahead of its competitors(I am not just telling this because I own one but serious research would lead you to believe the same).
If ur willing to shell out 6 to 7 lacs for a car there is no better car than the SWIFT in the current market:)
