I own a swift purchased two months back. The vehicle is stunning for various reasons. Superb pick up, relaxed driving pleasure, and lot of space compared to other Maruti products.
After the first service the vehicle has started to show a complaint, a very disturbing sound in the front doors. The rattling sound is so distracting to the driver sometimes. The vehicle was taken to the Authorized service station. Some patch up was done for the doors but after a few hundred kilometers the problem has reoccurred. The dealer was of the opinion that this is a defect with the swift and more than 8 such cases have been reported in this showroom, in Bangalore.
Hope the team in Maruti looks into this soon and also get this rectified for all the existing customers of Swift.
Another complaint is with the Glass. If it rains the visibility is very poor, the reason is the occurrence of patches in the glass. This again as per the dealer is a complaint with the Swift vehicle.
Hope this too is looked into soon.
