The idea of this review is to neither praise nor defame Swift but to present my experiences. It is for the user to decide whether it fits the bill or not.
I got my Swift Vxi in April and it has been just over a month now.
Dealer Experience
I got it from Rohan Motors Noida. The buying experience was ok. However at the time of delivery they rushed me through the whole process so I was not told in depth about the features and optimal driving conditions etc. I recommend that you spend good amount of time understanding features before taking delivery. Also ensure all paper work is complete else it might lead to delays. Being very big dealers getting individual attention si difficult especially during service
Vehicle Pro’s
1) Engine Performance - Perky and Responsive Engine
2) Tubeless Tyes - Lesser Punctures , better safety on high speed
3) Styling
4) Car of the year 2006 ( though some people say indian model has modifications which make it less safe like thickness of metal sheets used
5) Smoother ride- Good Suspension system. I find no problems on rough roads
6) Spacious - very spacious in the front , above average spacious in the rear
7) 2 Tripmeters - A and B. Thus mileage recording becomes very easy
Vehicle Con’s
1) Mileage - I am getting 12.5 Kmpl after first service ( on partial AC). Dealer says this will go upto 13.5 after second service
2) A tad bit difficult to reverse due to smaller real window glass
3) Doesn’t have a fuel tank near empty warning nor a digital fuel gauge
4) Boot space is lesser than Wagon R
