What can I say. For given reasons, Like every Swift owner, I was also pretty apprehensive before I bought Maruti Suzuki Swift. Few more factors contributed to my nervousness. First, this was my first car. Second, I hadn’t tried driving many cars in india. Well, my search for a car started in Aug 2005. I took test ride of Santro, Getz, Zen, WagonR, Indica and believe you me, Swift had plus points everywhere when compared to any of these cars.
Looks -> Best, Comfort -> Best, Spacious -> to the max , Ground clearance -> Best. Despite all this, what made me inclined towards Swift was it being the latest in Market. As it was from the stable of Maruti, I decided to ride my luck. I even had a feedback from someone that Swift is giving a mileage of 7-8 Km/Litre. But, I guess, I had to buy this car.
Finally on the auspicious day of Dhan-teras in 2005, I got my car delivered. There I was with the keys in my hand, proud owner of Swfit VXI Silky silver. (don’t ask how much time I spent in research to choose the color, I might end up crossing the word-limit of this forum). So far, haven’t had a single glitch with the performance of my car. Mileage is beyond my expectations. 14-16 Km/litre.
