This car has been a revolution on Indian roads, since its launch. It also is worth that admiration. This car has won accolades for its design, driveability, and road presence. This car for me is a supercar at the price it being sold.
I have been using this car for 2 years now and become a great fan of it. The car’s engine is such a wonderful creation. I have driven the car in the city and highways with equal pleasure. The car is great in the cities, but it is just unbelievable on the highways. I have touched a maximum speed of 185 KMPH on the express highway with great stability on the road. Recently got the air filter change to K&N. This has now increased the mileage and power a bit and just added to driving pleasure. Also got the tyres changed to Michelins, which now make it safer to drive. The driver’s seat is best in class. The gear shift is not excellently good but good. The instrument panel is simple to read and suits the interiors. The plastic quality could have been better. Maybe with growing competitions from maruti itself and other hatchbacks Swift might need a facelift alongwith increased power(Maybe the sports version needs to be introduce or a special edition).
There are certain niggling problems. Like the front glass on driver side is not a perfectly fitted, as it shakes every now and then. The gearshift(Especially the second gear) should be better to make it more comfortable in the cities. The leg space at the back could be increased.
As said earlier the wishlist for swift would include a special edition to take care of certain things. Maybe leather wrapped interiors, powerful engine, chrome plated parts, alloy wheels, rims could be larger, Michelin tyres fitted on it, the air filter could be K&N, alongwith better air intake system, a rear spoiler obviously, also a different grill with "sports" or "special edition" embossed on it. Maybe people can spell out more things to include in this version.
