Hi,
I have been driving this beauty for more than 6 months. its a pleasure to drive this vehicle. I won’t
repeat comments/criticism that is already there at mouthshut.
I went to my dealer for some rattling sound coming from front left door(it si a common problem
is Swift). After a quick drive with the sales guy revealed that its the seat belt buckle touching
the plastic causes that sound. and I agreed!
So guys, if you get a rattling sound from front left door, try this little experiment: buckle up the
left front seat belt and it should solve the problem.
I also got another rattling sound from behind whenever going over a big pot-hole or speed braker
at 15+ kmph. It appears that the rear seat cuases the problem. another useful info.
For reversing, people face problem because in india we are used to reversing while looking
backwards! this is utterly wrong. Notice that your vision also gets affected if you turn your head
too much. I just use all the three mirros for reversing(with reverse parking sensors to help me out). I never had problem while reversing, and I learnt driving after buying my Swift!
Over-all, a fantastic car with some rattling sounds which can be sorted out.
