I am penning this with utmost frustration and disdain. I had a very humiliating experience with Maruthi Udyog limited and its dealer Popular motors (kollam, kerala). I have booked the , overhyped on an unfortunate day of June, which by coincidence was my birthday too, to be precise June 8th.
Before I express more of my ire and distress let me give you the details. ’’Red-color Vxi model, down payment of 1.5 lakhs on the assurance that the car will be delivered in 2 weeks. Then after payment we heard from the manager it is 2 months.
The wait is on indefinitely, without any communication or assurance from the dealer or maruthi. Infact Maruthi called from its customer service ago a week ago and I doubt whether it was a prank call? He didn’t answer any of my questions about the delivery, just took details of the dealer and date of booking, and said he will call me back. 3 weeks has passed since, no call or message. What the HECK?
I am pissed of !!!! don’t know what to do? can some one tell me can I take legal action against maruthi? I don’t have any proof other than the cash payment and booking details...
