As everyone else writing review about new stylish hatchback Maruti Swift. I thought of writing my own experience of it. Although I vividly remember that I have seen this car on my trip to Germany a year back , but I cant be sure about that.
So like everyone else I also posed as a prospective buyer of the car and asked for a test drive to my local dealer. He was little sceptical, when he saw my Santro Xing ( I just bought it couple of months back), but finally agreed. After test drive I didnt feel dissapointed that I biught Santro but If I had waited and given a choice I would had gone for Swift for sure.
Here is summary of what I learned and experienced from different sources;
Well if looks is what you are for, Guys believe me I found it great... But then you can debate saying beauty lies in the eye of beholder, but at the sametime you must be in minority if you dont find Aiswarya Rai beautiful. Anyways the car looks stylish in almost all the colors. As per the dealer said I have 8 wonderful options.
Solid Bright Red
Metallic Garnet Orange
Metallic Silky Silver
Metallic Crystal Gold
Metallic Mint Frappe
Metallic Azure Grey
Metallic Beam Blue
Metallic Midnight Black
Well for me this makes the choice more difficult as I liked almost all the colors (But I will settle for silky silver). In short about the looks I can say It has Wide rear bumper. Styled tailgate. Curvy, rear combination lamps flush with the chiselled shoulder lines. Looks loaded (I mean fully loaded once you are in).
The swift comes in three models namely; in ascending order of added features
LXi
VXi
ZXi

This sensible, reassuring approach also manifests itself in the way space is managed so as to maximize people and luggage carrying flexibility. things away in corners. And theres a large boot, with generous amounts of space.
It 6 on-board computers optimize performance and drive quality as driving conditions change.
