Maruti is a brand we all know about. We know about its popularity as we have seen so many cars rolled out in the market by it. It launched its new upgraded swift in 2011 with upgraded specification but I was not satisfied with it.
Now talking about my experience about it I went to the showroom of both hyundai and Maruti suzuki to check out swift and i20.
So when I came across swift I felt like it has lost its touch. I can say so because of the many reasons.
First of all they have not changed much of their design than the previous model. Also they decreased the wheelbase of maruti suzuki and made the car a little bit smaller which was a big no for me. Also the dashboard and front console was standard and did not attract my attention. Maybe this is my personal experience but I found the car pretty average with its average looks.
I would suggest other options in this hatchback category with better style and interiors like i20 and polo.
Also the handling was also not that great when I test drove it. They could have introduced more features. But you can still buy it if you love the reluabilty of the brand and its after sales service.
