I have done 9000 Km in four months till now. This is a very practical car even if you don’t drive much. I had originally thought of buying the petrol version but went for diesel on an impulse. I have not regretted the decision. In fact I have ended up using thin car more because it is diesel and had great fun in the process.
The after sales service from Fortune Auto in Basdroni South Calcutta is great. In fact this is why I did not go for Indica Vista which has the same engine. Tata after sales service I have herd leaves much to be desiered ( I am baseing my opinion on the number of forum posts on the net, I have not owned a TATA cat myself ).
The engine and gear shift is smooth. Engine noise is as low as a petrol car after the car has run for 10 to 15 mins. Since This is a Tall Boy design road holding is good, but not what you get from car with lower center of gravity. Front seats are very comfortable. Rear seats are slightly cramped. Indica rear seats are much better
Over all I love this car.
