Dear All,
I writing this after driving the vehicle for 6300 KMs and 8 visits to the workshop. (Sagar Automobiles).Rattling sound problem continues. I am sick of visiting the workshop and now decided to ask for a replacement for this vehicle. I have written a snail mail to Mr.Shinzo Nakanishi (CEO) and he had not responded yet. I have written an e-mail to him last week. Hope to receive some response from him.
All the claims of these Japanese companies being polite and customer friendly seems totally misleading to me due the bad experience I am undergoing with this product. Those who have no such problems in your cars, you are lucky and enjoy your drive.
For the "not so lucky" ones, like me, hoping for some solution from the CEO at least.
Best regards,
Prabhakara

Dear All,
I took the delivery of Swift VDI on 5th Feb 2010. I observed very minor rattling noise after 15 days during a long drive. I reported this to Sagar Automobiles (Bangalore) during first service.
I was told that it is known problem and they will fix it. After the service when I took the delivery, I observed that the noise has increased much more. I can here this noise even at low speeds. I went to workshop again. They again worked on it for a day. I still have the noise. I dont know what to do. All the comments about "very good car" "good mileage" "good quality" have to be taken with a pinch of salt. Engine may be good but Cabin noise is high and rattling is very irritating. Please think twice before buying this vehicle.
Also, it has no space for keeping emergency indicator triangle and the tool kit. If you keep in dickey, at every road bump it will jump and create a noise. Suzuki has no commonsense to create a place for keeping this essential tools.
Please look out for other alternatives.
