Maruti Swift Vdi is my first car. I have been using this car for past 10 months and I am not regretting my decision at all. My daily usage is of around 50 kms in a mix of jam and open roads. Swift has never let me down till date in any situation.
I have driven it for long long hours and bad bad rains, but I never have had a breakdown problem. It’s a diesel car, so I feel it little noisy inside while driving but I think this is part and parcel of any small diesel car. I wanted to buy grey colour however I could not get it in the timelines that I was looking for so I settled down for silver colour. I have done the required underbody, external and engine coatings as it is must in the city like mumbai.
I find car spacious internally but the ergonomics can still be better. Before buying swift I was comparing fabia and punto as well however I finalized swift as maruti is known for one of the best after sales services, low cost maintenance and good resale value.
I would highly recommend this car for anybody planning to buy diesel car in hatchback segment.
