I bought Swift vdi in May 2007.I have done almost 6000km in this car and believe me I really enjoy driving swift vdi. In city drive its fuel consumtion is 15KMPL & on highways its 18KMPL with 90% AC on. I generally fill HPs Turbojet Diesel or Shell diesel--Any suggestions on this.
Somehow I FEEL that for diesel engine the suspension is not upto the mark, maruti people should work on this. But It is really a value for money.
Recently I have heard one news that there is some technical snag on the software side controlling ECU & turbocharger . It seems... to rectify this snag maruti is upgrading this software, but Iam not sure about this news. Please share if anybody has any information on this techincal snag in swift diesel.
Pros:excellent drive & fuel economy, tubeless tyres
Cons: less space for rear seat passengers, back view is notgood while taking reverse
