Good one, but can it take the competition!

Maruti Swift **is a well designed and built car. So it has now got a new diesel engine option. Are you guyS really thinking that is this worth a buY?I will let you know,

If some one is planning to buy a petrol car of worth around 4.5 - 5 lacs than I

bet you can go for this Swift Diesel, not only just because you can save

on fuel but the engine very responsive and refined and it makes a sense to

spend a little more than petrol swift to get much efficient both in fuel wise

and engine wise (so can have a less refilling than a petrol one). You

don’t feel heavy on pocket.

As far as the engine is concerned it has fiat engineering and technology so it

has got all the advanced technology. **They (fiat) are the one who invented CRDi

engines for Alpha Romeo cars. In near future you will see same engine in

Tata’s, Chevy’s and of course Fiat.*

Now can Swift take the competition, we have to wait and see till this year end. We have Fiat Punto

which may come in July which has same engine but may be more refined. This car has lot to offer, you can not take your eye off from it. It has made Fiat to pay back all there debts (Ferrari

shares were in bank). This car is a huge success in UK which made Fiat sales

figure rise. And Aveo may also get this same engine under there bonnet. What it seems like

its going to be multijet all the way.

A much awaited Skoda Fabia is also on its way, may be this year end or

early 2008. Swift in UK has same engine but it produces 70 horses where has in india it has been re-tuned to get max output, a 5 horses more.

In my opinion this is the best diesel small car available right now.

Sincerely,

Bagheerath
