I am owning Maruti Swift LDi, I have crossed 11k in 6 months.
The car is doing great, good powerful one and excellent driving comfort. But after crossing 10k I am finding some problems.
After 10500, I started noticing a sound, some rubbing(grinding) sound when I drive slow(may be with out pressing acc, around 25kmph at 3rd gear and below 40kmph at 4th gear) at 3rd and 4th gears. I have shown this to maruti engineers, they say that it is normal, the clutch is rubbing, I would like to know whether anyone else noticed this issue?
Also I found another problem, when the vehicle is idle in neutral I can hear some sound coming out of engine, but it disappears as soon as I press the clutch till bottom. Maruti engineers telling that it is quiet normal in swift when you cross 10k, I have not noticed it in any other vehicle. Did anyone found this issue?
I have read some where that If it makes the noise when the clutch ispressed and stops when released, it is a bad throwout bearing problem. If itmakes the noise when the clutch is released and stops when itspressed, its input shaft bearings problem.
Anybody have any clue regarding these?
