I was a proud owner of old Zen, and now upgraded to Swift LDI, I took the Silky Silver last week, I really like the space and height (Compared to my Zen), very powerful engine and its Diesel so no issue’s with the mileage, I will write back on the mileage after my first service, 1 week have done 800 Kms.
Even though the car is powerful and very economic, I see lot of careless from Maruti. The car is not stable on high speeds, I have read lot of reviews by swift and SX4 owners that its due to the Tyre (JK Tyre), I am pursuing with the Dealer to get it changed, I am really not sure how a well established brand like Maruti can ignore basic safety, the second day I took it on highways ECR, this road has lot of bends, I used to drive regularly on this road on my Zen and never had stability issue, beyond 120, the car is not stable on even the slight bends.
Second issue is same as one of our MS friend, some rattle noise from the hatch door, I dont have speaker plank installed.
Still I love the car.... :-)
