Bought my first sedan in Nov 09 after driving santro for 10 yrs and the changeover feeling will obviously feel great. The handling of the car is superb in city and also on highways. u will not know when the kilometers on the highway gets munched away. I did my first intercity trip from Goa to Bangalore and back quite comfortably with the family fast asleep throughout. In fact they did not know that the miles have been munched so fast. Thats the reason its max points for comfort. The vehicle for its engine capacity has given a very a good mileage(city + highway combined) of 17 KPL.
In Goa its giving me 18 KPL. I feel that the mileage is great for that segment and u cant ask it to be frugal like estillo. There is no question of driver fatigue as the steering is power assisted, A/c is good and car having good cabin sound proofing(good engine noise supression). I could cover the Goa- Blore trip in 12 hrs with 2 hr break for tea/lunch breaks. In fact I went for an evening stroll after the drive.
I bought the SX4 purely by instinct and without any research. The positives that I found to be impressive were:-
1. Great tall boy looks so getting in and out not difficult for tall uns.
2. Good on pocket. Its about a lakh and a half cheaper than Honda city(my dream buy like
everyone).
3. Great improved interiors.
4. Good and responsive(revving) engine(always test drive before u buy)
5. Good service network.
6. last but not the least "My Wife approved it which is critical for all married men"
So ladies and gentle men dont think too much to be confused, but go for what ur heart says. ull not repent in the long run
