I purchased a Maruti suzuki SX4 ZXI VVTI model in Dec 09.While I enjoy driving the car, there are some major concerns.
Sometimes I am unable to see small things like a cycle/pedestrian and even scooters coming from right front side say at 30-45 degrees eg on cross roads due to the obstruction (big blind angle) caused by the front side small windows and their upholstry. The side mirrors are also located too far behind, due to these small windows, so you have to turn your head to see the rear areas.
The interiors are not so attractive and the company needs to look into it. The fabric in the ZXi model (non leather) does not appear to belong to a car costing 7-8 lakhs.
Despite the safety angle, it is a wonderful car. It is mechanically reliable and isgiving me 13 plus mileage in the city with air conditioning on.
