It is now more than a year of owning SX4 (ZXi) my first big car (previously had a Santro Xing). The car no drought is a big car from inside and outside. I particularly like its muscular finish.
The drive all these months have been very comfortable. Maruti has done an excellent job in making this car very comfortable. The drive is very smooth and the car peps up with just a little step on the accelerator. I kind of fallen in love with the pick-up of the car.
The engine is so smooth, in-fact in the initial days it was difficult for me to know that the engine is running unless I would have peeped at the RPM meter. The noise is next to nil.
The car is not meant for people who are looking for fuel average as it is the worst in its class. It gives me 9-10 km / liter of petrol; although some friends have claimed that it gives upto 11-12 Km. I am yet to see that in my car. The other thing I don’t like is the quality of rubber lining and plastic used in the car. I guess, Maruti in the heat of keeping the price low has compromised on the quality of material used.
On the over all basis I would rate the car 8/10. I good buy for people looking for looks and power. As truly said ’MEN ARE BACK"
