After too much brainstorming in finding a car in a budget of 4-5 lacs that should be easy to drive , maintain and easy to service, I settle down for this one, Maruti Wagon R cng, going for cng was the only option for me as my daily run is around a 100 kms and my odometer shall confirm that its at 45000kms and I bought my car on 2nd Aug 2011!!!!.So far this has given me whatever I have seek from it, milage 200-210kms on full cylinder on highways with ac on a avg speed of 100- 120kms , and in Delhi like city condition it gives me 180-190 kms with AC.
I had a confusion between beat, i10 and wagon r, beat has only one advantage that its diesel other than that I have doubt over chevy as a brand and service affordability, i10 do comes with a cng option but that is only DEALER fitted for which they are asking 67000rs which can ofcourse done outside @ 25000 rs.Till date my car hasnt been checked for any trouble related to cng, I have driven it very frequently between Lucknow Delhi upteen times and have managed a top speed of 155kms/hr ( on petrol) , on cng I haven’t tested it beyond 120km/hr .
Draw back:
The sheet metal used, body starts rattling on bad roads,
Braking is very sloppy
Other than that this is the best vehicle as on date in the said budget.
