Hi,
I drive a 2009 Wagon R(old Version) But May Father bought the New one about a Year Back.
The New Wagon R comes with the K-Series Engine which is more Refined, Silent, Smooth & Easy to Maintain. Soon after it’s first Service week took the New Wagon-R on a Long Drive.- Jaipur to Shirdi! The trip was very comfortable no issues even at 110 KMPH.
As compared to my Wagon-R, which has Four Cylinders versus the New one Which Has Three, the new K-Series is not that responsive when the Car is fully loaded with 5 passengers and Luggage.
This is what I like about the New Wagon-R-
Very Smooth to Drive, Steering, Clutch-Brake& Accelerator Pedals are Very Smooth.
Gear Shift is Very Smooth and effortless.
ORVM - The Electric Side View Mirrors are easy to adjust.
The Doors open really WIDE, very easy to get in and get out of the car.
The 40:60 ration on rear seats is really usefull.
Front left side seat has a parcel tray under the seat.really amazing thought by Maruti engineers.
The Car is stable at High Speed and easy to control.
What could have been Better.
Absence of Day-Night rear view mirror even in the VXi
The In built stereo system is not that great. No USB port but can connect a MP3 / iPOD.
Quality of interiors is not that great.
Fog Lamps could have been better. I am not sure where do they focus? could hardly make out when they are switched on.
Overall a Nice Family Car, suitable for Daily City Drive.
