Well the rating for look may vary from person to person , now with less boxy design and stilla tallboy car but in terms of space management Maruti Suzuki has done a excellent job a big thumbs up to that.
The variants for the new wagon R as such for petrol manual transmission lxi, vxi, zxi and for amt transmission it has got vxi , zxi also it comes up with cng for lxi models
This product comes with BS VI engine which is again a plus point to the new wagon R. However the performance of the engine more or less is similar to the previous generation with a 3 cylinder petrol engine producing 67 bhp at 6300 rpm and 90 Nm at 3500rpm but there is a great improvement in the mileage of ARAI 20kmpl .how on cities expect it to be around 17-18kmpl depending upon ur driving.
The plastic quality used in the new MS Wagon R is not that great but the price range at which the vehicle is launched is decent. But no headrest is offered for the front as well as for rear passengers which is a little disappointment. The leg room offered in the new Wagon R is more than the previous generation and the AC system works pretty good.No alloys can be seen in any of the variant with is again a disappointment
The overall built quality for this vehicle is so and so not that great like that of the other Maruti Suzuki vehicles.
In terms of safety the car comes with dual airbags from SOS, Childlock system, ABS and defogger and foglamps but no EBD as such.
So for overall this vehicle is basically a economical vehicle with less mainteinance and maruti suzuki assurance and you might get a good resale value and good for highways as well as for cities better then santro but comes with neck to neck competition with i10 grand and tiago. so overall its a value for money car for its mid variants but for higher variant and amt models of the same Wagon R there are better options available in market
