Yes, I am talking about the smart decision I took in my life by switching from a C segment car last year to the Wagon R Duo LXi, I was very skeptical initially from moving from a bigger powerful car to a boxy looking LPG run car. 15, 000 Kms and 12 months later, I am very happy with the way the WR has performed. The smooth ride, easy handling and space(horizontal and vertical) has left me stunned. I cannot recollect a moment when Ive had problems with the duo. The monthly fuel bill is a lot easier on the pocket these days thanks to the duo. Friends told me how the initial start would be slower due to LPG, but its not much of a spoiler-believe me!
The car is pacy, trendy and above all comfortable and easy to maneuver even in the toughest of roads and narrowest of lanes. One thing you cant take away from our cities. The interior space is luxurious especially for the taller folks, the dash board is elegant and the changeover switch is cool. One thing thats getting hard to digest is the price of LPG itself. From 26 rs to a litre in March 2007 to 34 today, the competitive advantage seemingly closing up. Maybe Maruthis already planning an upgraded CNG version. All said, The Wagon R Duo LXi stands a Tall Boy in the roads today
