This is my first car. I got married last year so wanted to have a hatchback car perfect for two people moving around in the city, easy on pocket, low on maintenance. I got a Wagon R duo as that time I was in a sales position and was doing more than 60-70 kms a day.
It is a good car -very spacious from inside, good headroom, low maintenance, good average (on petrol about 12-13 with AC on within the city, more on highway). Ground clearance is good. Car is best to drive with a power steering. Engine is powerful enough for 2 people with AC on. The acceleration goes down if AC is on and 5 people are sitting inside.
About LPG -
LPG average is about 10 in city but better on highway. The only issue is that LPG is not available easily in my part of city (Western Suburbs, Mumbai). LPG is good when you are driving on highway. Once car has taken acceleration, LPG is best for cruise mode. (You can switch from petrol drive to LPG at press of a button). Although it will not save you too much money (max 15-20% as the LPG prices are more than 32 rs / kg now). Please dont confuse LPG with CNG as both are different. CNG is more easily available and is cheaper, but this car runs on LPG, not CNG.
