I have Purchased WagonR VXI model and took delivery on 6th Jan 2011. I have paid a total cost of Rs. 430000.00 then.I have clocked 8000 kms so far. The car feels th same till date. No maintenance costs other than one oil change which costed me Rs 960 during third free service. First 2 services costed me Rs.19.00 each for windshield soap replenishment.
The car runs very smoothy with very good space, cabin insulation, nice interiors, power steering.
I get a mileage of 13.5 to 14.5 kmpl in city driving and about 17-18 on highway drive.
I rate this vehicle high because of its high ground clearance, generous interior space(self and my father are more than 5.10’), decent fuel economy and nice interiors.
I have decided upon WagonR due to the following reasons;
This vehicle is in the market for more than a decade
The vehicle and engine platforms are revamped and thus likely to be in the market for another decade(So better resale value and spare parts support)
This is my first car and so I cant compare it with any other vehicles in the market.
Over all, it’s a very good value for money.
