I own a WagonR Vxi wef Sept 2004. I have the following real issues against Maruti-Suzuki
They have stuffed the worst possible gearbox in the automotive history into this car and they are not bothered to do any improvement; Utter Shamelessness!
The engine at low rpm, i.e upto 2000 rpm is ok but gets very raucous at 2500-3000pm; This indicates poor engineering for a hatch of this price and segment. The moment you put on AC and have co paasengers, the drag on the car becomes evident. The vibrations travelling thru the gearshift stick is high and unaccpetable
Cabin NHV- Totally unaccpetable.Pl drive at high speeds and experience the high noise boom;
The seats are not ergonomically designed and hence causes pain to back if you drive for a hour; The seat belts are placed too high and cannot be adjusted for height differentials; These indicates poor thought process
Even the top end VXI does not have power windows at the rear seat, no electric ORVM; Why?
The new look wagonR is even worse than my model; The front section is alike a gaping shark and reflects poor design and aesthetics sense on the part of MS!
Anyway, Pl don’t spend so much on this outdated product and those who want to buy a good car must consider Getz or the imminent Skoda Fabia or the Fiat Grande Punto.
