Well friends!! What to say about this product? It belongs to one of the reliable and trusted car manufacturer in India called Maruti Udyog. It failed to impress me. I drove one of my friends wagon-r Lxi model, it’s not at all comfortable. It is often said that the mechanism of wagon-r is excellent, it has superb engine. But what’s the use of such technology and mechanism when it fails to meet comfort level.
The very first thing that distracts me was its seating and steering. What man!! You are driving a mid-size luxury car and do not have proper steering. It is just a simple round wheel with two partitions, steering with more partition gives better grip and movement. This is my driving experience and I enjoy driving my Santro xs model. Moving further into wagon its wheel base is not broad and looks like a toy wheel. Okay the next is accessories; no rear wiper, no rear defrost system, common plastic dash-board with not very attractive upholstery. Besides, the front room is not partitioned like Santro has in its variant.
Ok friend on the mileage front, there is nothing to cheer about; it shares same mileage (10-15) as its counterpart. The only best part of this product is its origination from Maruti Udyog, which gives you less maintenance.
Okay try to figure out the following:
1) quality of dashboard plastic is pathetic
2) window glass is very thin
3) no rear wiper
4) no rear defrost
5) Hand-break is just like a local handle taken from scrapped ricksaw
6) they do not provide left side mirror
7) look is horrible looks like match-box
8) tyre width is narrow
9) seating is low
10) steering is bad
