Wagon R is cool!

Hi all,

I bought a Wagon R (new version, only petrol) about a month ago. The vehicle is absolutely smooth and comfortable. The gear shift is a bit tough, but I am getting used to it by now. The rear seats are really narrow compared to Santro, and far too straight. But the showroom guys said that it is placed so that you dont get back ache (It might be a marketing strategy!).

Got a hat-tray placed so that speakers can be mounted. The Pioneer stereo system with Sony speakers have an excellent effect. I am happy with the purchase.

The service was good at Mandovi motors, though they call far too often (customer care!). The service at Sagar automobiles on Bannerghatta road was pathetic when I went for an enquiry. I had to ask for a sales person three times. Each time they only asked me to wait more. Finally I said Guess you guys are too busy and left. I only got one response call from them. Mandovi gives good offers also.

My Wagon R is almost four months old now. So far I have had absolutely no problems, espcially after the first service. The gear shift is much easier now, I am able to change gears with even two fingers easily. It gives me 16.5 kms per litre now. I am so happy I bought the new Wagon R Vxi.

April 2007: My WagonR is 6 months old now. Not a single problem so far. Very smooth. I get about 14 kms per litre now. Just an update
