This my first review on MouthShut. Recently I bought a WagonR VXI, and I want to share my experiance
Like most of of the people I have gone through all the reviews in various webs and finally converged to wagon R because it is meeting all my requirements viz. AC CAR, more interior space, power windows, rear wipers, power steering, petrol car and more importantly budget
One advantage with wagonR is its improved tyre sizes and which give more comfort on uneven roads and it is giving good mileage and thanks to K -series. But the problem I observed is poor pick-up, particularly when we are shifting from 1 gear to 2 gear.
And with this car I visited hill stations like Yelegiri and Horsely hills and the riding comfort is excellent on the Ghat road and very clear road view which gives lot of confidence in driving.
And a very good point which I want to add is its city maneuverability, able to to take turn in small place and able take out car in crowed parking areas (really excellent).
And really I don’t know what to do with the adjustable steering and I felt this feature may not be that beneficial and of course we can only tilt the steering by 1 inch appx.
And really the storage space is not sufficient and we have to plan lot to keep out luggage it is more that two suitcases/travel bags.
And like Santro Xing a foot rest near clutch pedal may improve comfort little more and and feel it is essential because the height of the clutch pedal appears to be slightly more.
And most important thing is the body and I don’t have the technical details of the sheet size what Maruti is using but it should be improved even a small/little contact produce tents. Scratches on the body.
Over all it the best car in that segment packing all features of high end car...
