I have done 18K+ kilometers in my WagonR so I wanted to send some feedback about the car.I have categorised it into different parts. Here they are :
Dealer and Service Centre Experience - Well I am a person who takes service VERY serious as I am in the service industry. Overall, I have had a positive experience with my interactions with the Dealers. I have not faced any issues with servicing and while purchasing accesories for the car. The staff seems to very courteous and helpful. They always keep me updated on the status of the car when I give it for service.
Engine and Ride Quality - This is something that really amazes. The engine is just GREAT. It has the same feel and sound as the first time when I bought it. It is REALLY smooth with absolutely ZERO noise. The gears are as smooth as silk. I NEVER use more than ONE FINGER to change the gears. The cluth, brakes and accelerator are working great. No problem with the tyres too. Have travelled to Ooty and Coorg. Really sad roads but they car did just fine. The headlamp adjustor is the biggest BOON in the car. Most cars dont even come with it.
Accessories - I just bought the fog lamps 6 months ago. One of them has already stopped working. I guess its because I keep on starting the car with the lights on. That shouldnt be done.
Mileage - I get around 14KMPL in the city. Not very sure about the highway.
Accidental Claim - I have claimed insurance twice and have had absolutely no issues with the process. It was all done very quickly and easily. A year’s up and I have renewed my insurance through Maruti. Got a few free vouchers :-).
Overall I am VERY satisfied with the car. Sometimes I face an issue when there are 2 really tall people sitting in the back seat. But its ok if its in the city limits. I am a very proud WagonR owner and recommend others to buy this car.
