WAGON R A FAMILY CAR?

I was planning to buy another car. The Toss was between WAGON R and Hyundai XING. I saw

WAGON R and the first reaction of the car was ’’UGH, what an Ugly car’’. The aerodynamics of the car are nil as it has

a Box shape and no smooth edges, so the friction with the air is too much which affects its performance and this in turn affects the mileage of the car. The gear shift is very poor, the A.C is noisy and with it Low center of gravity, it can somersault easily. Try changing lanes quickly or making a tight turn on the twisty road and you feel like you could topple the car over.

It’s because of this that the car is no fun to drive. The rear seat space is inadequate. The ergonomics of the car disappoint. The seating position is high and the position of the gear lever-steering wheel-foot pedals is not optimised.Take a long drive and you will end up with aching arms. Sliding switches for the AC unit not only look down market and cheap but they are also a ergonomic

disaster. The gear shift is clunky, crude and notchy. Also, the gear lever throws are too long.It is not a family car.Not by miles.

The XING on the other hand was a pleasure and value for money. Good looks and great technology which gives

the owner what they want. Th Santro’s new Avatar will surely make it more popular among the masses

Maruti is giving its customer an Auto Rickshaw.

The Indian Automobile Users have a long way to go and all those who have made WAGON R the largest selling car

in its segment I feel sorry for them. Please Stand up reject the bad cars which are given to us by the manufacturers.

Its time we stand up for our rights after all we invest our hard earned money.
