The car is good. I am driving it for last four years.
Fuel economy is good. But not very far ahead of it’s contemporaries.
Dealer was not at all professional and effective. I had purchased it from Sikand Motor Company, Cannout Place, New Delhi. They made me to buy in December, 2004. They were never able to please me with their service.
Gear box of the car is clunky, reverse gear is not at all smooth. None of the Authorised service centres, near my home, were able to rectify the problem.
AC is not very effective. Sikand Service centre has serviced it a number of time, but I am not happy with AC’s performance.
Over all, it is a value for money proposition. But, I feel there is a room for Improvement. Santro gives a good competition to Wagon R.
At the time, I purchased this model, there was no Duo version available. Otherwise, I would have gone for that.
I would definitly not go for this model again, but it is good option as my first car.
