I have been driving this car for past 7 years and till now no problems. In highway the fuel average goes up to 17.5km/litre(60km/hr, with A/C) and city driving 12km/ltr(with A/C). The dealer cannot misguide you, any complain to parent, Maruti(website), the dealer will come to you apologizing.
This car is small but best for city driving. Keep changing the engine and gear box oil at regular intervals. Buy sealed oil cans from authorized oil dealers. Keep the engine air filter clean. Pre-evaporator(A/C) filter to be installed soon after purchasing the vehicle and regularly clean it. Battery water to kept strictly at the required level. Drive carefully and slowly in pot holes and over speed breaker.
Do not retrofit stereo/Autocop etc from the dealer or any body, as they spoil the electrical wirings, trust me! Loose wiring is the no.1 cause of the fires in the car.
