Its now almost 4 months now that I own Estilo VXI (Minus Air Bags & ABS). Hence I felt that its good time that now I can give a review on this.
Looks:
As rightly said, “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”. Hence no comments on this field, we liked it hence bought it.
Comfort:
The drive is smooth and it takes on the bumps and pot holes smoothly. Its very easy to negotiate in heavy traffic, and its very easy to park in the cramped parking places. The electronic power steering is much smoother than that of the Santro, The interior gives you a bright feel, hence you every time feel good entering the car. The built quality are within limits but could have been far better. The car can comfortable sit 3 in the back seat (medium built persons). Once 4 of my friends were able to make it to the back seats( though very uncomfortably). The boot space is surprisingly large, and has more space than santro.
Engine:
The engine is power full, but I could feel the engine bit under powered while taking the load of 6 persons with AC on.
AC:
The AC is very strong and efficient, and does not bogs the engine down, but the difference would be felt if you are bit over loaded and try to switch on the AC, you would feel the need to push the accelerator more.
Mileage:
The mileage which I am getting out of the car is 13.1 KM/L, with AC on, in stop and go traffic. And I got 17.48 KM/L in the highway, with AC on. (I expect it to increase little more after second service).
The Gear Shift:
The gear shift is not that great ( Snatro’s gear shift is far superior), This is the only down side which I can find for this car. Initially sometimes I had trouble with the reverse gear, but after 4 months of driving, I do not feel the lousiness of the gear shifts (its matter of getting used to it… J)
Some were I read that the dash board is long because the engine sits beneath it, I double checked it myself, and did see the engine intruding into the dashboard space. In fact the leg space for the front passengers is awesome.
Over all I am extremely satisfied with this car and it is a great value for money.
