I just purchased a Zen Estilo VXI on 14th June 2010. I went to Indus Motors in Chennai and was assisted by a sales guy. The Sales guy was patient enough to answer my questions and show me all the models of the car. Initially I booked a Swift VXI but after looking at Estilo I changed my decision and purchased it. Its been 15 days since I purchased and I feel it is a good value for money. The car interiors are spacious and 4 people(tall) can sit comfortably. It will be a squeeze for the 5th person. This is a good car for city driving especially if you have to navigate through small roads.
The car has good pickup but felt little bit of underpower when running AC but this is not as underpowered like Alto and it think should be ok after couple of services. I really did not check about the mileage but heard from other people saying it gives around 13-14 Km per liter with AC. Yesterday I had to take the car a bit far from chennai and the road was with complete pot holes, but the vehicle handled it without any difficulty. The only con I see is that the floor mats given by Maruti is very cheap and thin and the car does not come with a music system. Other than this it is a very good car with new K Series engine and aupgraded dashboard. The dealer was also kind enough to give me 20K + 2.5 K cash discount.
This will be a good car for people who are buying their first car have some budget constrains and for those who dont like WagonR design. I was also looking for i10 but the on road price is almost 1L more than zen estilo. This car is definitely a value for money.
