I purchased zen estilo on 31.5.2007 in Pune city.
Earlier I had zen car of 2003 model.
I took test drive of zen estilo and the immediate impressions were compared to old zen
1) more power
2) powerful brakes with smooth cushioning effect due to brake booster & ventilated rotors & increased size of brake pistons.
3) getting inside & out of car was very very comfortable as compared to zen.( This zeroed my backache. )this further adds to comfortable sitting position with minimum fatigue for long driving or city driving both.
4) good space for luggage .
So I decided to purchase it . Now the reading is 46385 kms.I drove this car upto 140 kms /hr on express highway & it is o.k. I have changed tyres all 5. No other major maintenance other than regular servicing at every 5000 kms. After driving for 46000 KMS + I feel Suzuki could have improved as( I feel it is a must )
1) back seat -- leg rest on seat has to be 3 inches more atleast to make it comfortable as of front seats
This makes long journeys very comfortable.
2) instrument panel is average -to be at par with best.
3)central locking knob gives you feeling of sitting in Maruti Van. It could have been like in old Zen
4) After closing all windows transmission noise is there & more at high speeds 90kms & above as compared to Zen which is almost nil.
5) if dash board could have been lower by say 4 inches road visibility could have been near to i10 car.
I have travelled at strech 600kms a day 6 times at least. & pune Mumbai Express highway more than 20 times, city driving is 40kms + daily & I feel car is superb in performance. Fuel ave. Is 13 to 14 kms in city & 18 to 22 kms out of city.
I am extremely happy with this car though.
