I bought my Virgin Blue Zen Estilo VXI on June 22nd 2007. I am not a great automobile expert, nevertheless, I share my personal feelings about the car that I own and my review is entirely based on the the Model that I chose. Readers please pardon me for any mistakes/oversights as this is my first ever review:-)
Firstly, I liked this car for looks, space(legroom, headroom, boot), its AC performance, brand faith, and last but not the least, the price. I got the high end model (VXI) for 4.20 lakhs(after the 15k cash discount) and which is good worth for the money.
Looks:
I almost fell in love with this car at the first sight when I saw on its release in Bangalore. However, I waited this long to check Spark. Estilo has good style for a small car and I guess almost all small cars now look almost similar with little changes here and there.
*Interiors:
The complete beige interiors looks good, but doesnt beat the ones in the Premium cars. It actually gives a spacious look inside due to bright interiors. The plastic used is not very superior, but itsnt that bad either. Maruti Suzuki could have done finer finish just for the feel good factor.
*Exteriors:
As I had said earlier, it looks overall good. Its kind of a baby Innova:-) Rear view mirrors, door handles, bumpers all in body colour - looks good.
*AC:
I am comparing the AC performance of this car with Spark and really feel far superior. It chills the entire cabinet in less than 2 minutes.
*Pickup/Performance:
The vehicle is smooth without AC, but feels a little sluggish with AC. I guess that is more or less same with all the small cars. However, I didnt feel it so much bothering as the traffic condition is obvious in Bangalore.
Gears:
I felt the gears are too feeble. This is not a good thing. It almost shakes. I hope they can fix it during service.
I had to put little extra effort to move to the 5th gear. May be I still need to get used to it.
*Mileage:
July 10th 2007(Update): I have driven almost 500 kms and it has given me 13 kmpl till now. Hope it improves after the first service.
*After Sales Service:
Too early. Will update later.
