Maruti Udyog continues on its path of making its cars smaller and smaller, and more uncomfortable, with its latest protege. the Estilo. If Maruti thought that a different sounding name would cover up the cars flaws, they were mistaken.
Flaws:
1> The engine is not responsive. Considering that its petrol, and its such a teenytiny car, it should have been a lot quicker in acceleration. Feels like Maruti is still using the 800s engine;
2> Space is a major constraint. Make sure ur girlfriend doesnt sit in the backseat with another guy. No matter how faithful she is, limited space will bring them together. Even in the driver seat, you have to be careful else your elbows and knees will start a drum band against the car door, steering wheel, dashboard, and instrument panel;
3> The instrument panel looks a bit out of place and confusing, considering the number of knobs and buttons, and the general internal/ambience layout of the car;
4> I know it was a dealers car I drove, the model was only a few months old, andDriven under perfect conditions sahabjee, by good driver also he is having licence. Must be licence to use bad grammar, because the entire steering, drivetrain, and transmission, felt like it was falling apart inside.
5> Especially the gearbox. It was ok to change gears at low speeds, but changing while going flat-out is a major no-no;
*Pros:
1> Good for people(or a family thereof) whos **average height is below 6 feet, and average tummy width is less than 42 inches once-round. If otherwise, then please avoid this sardine tin
2> Zippy if you rev a whooole lot, but only if;
3> Road Visibility is decent, with few blind spots
4> Many bits and bobs, knobs and dashes have been added to give drivers a lot to entertain themselves with;
5> Its an affordable option
6> It looks better than Marutis dinky car(Zen), or Marutis took-took(Wagon-R)
Overall, its nothing but a Zen, with the roof raised a bit(which doesnt help much).
Happy driving!
