Hello all,
I am one of the proud owner of a Zen Estilo Vxi. its a sparkling virgin blue in colour. Its close to a month since i bought it and I have crossed 900 km and is due for its 1st service. I am pretty much impressed and satisfied with the car. It cost me 4.28 lakhs on road in Bangalore.
I was floored by the looks of this car and decided to check on the tech specs. On surfing the net I found out that this car and the wagon r are being built on the same platform, but with a refined engine. Frankly speaking I had not got enough info on this car, however decided to buy it.
Pros of the car
The engine is quite responsive, silent. The pick up should have been a tad better.
The A/c is quite powerful. However since its winter in Bangalore its real test would be in the months of April & May.
The Power Steering is quite nice, though my first impression was that its a little hard. Driving this car in the city is very easy.
The Boot space is good, a little more than a Santro.
The mileage seems pretty ok too. I have got 13 and 13.7 with A/c on and off in the city. I havent yet taken it for a long drive. I hope the mileage will increase by 2-3 kms after the 2nd or 3rd service.
I came across an article by an estilo owner that its giving about 15 after doing about 2000 kms.
The interiors are fantastic, its a combo beige and grey and hence gives a very rich n luxurious feel.
My advise to prospective buyers is that they should go in for a Vxi because of the additional features it has over an Lxi. I came across a person who bought an Lxi and got an additional keyless central locking fixed and it came up to 4.10 lakhs. The tyres are smaller in the Lxi than the Vxi and this person wants to change the tyres and some other minor non-fancy changes. My guess is that it would cost him as much as a Vxi if not more.
All in all its an absolutely delightful car for a family of four and the nameestilo which means style stands true in every aspect. I highly recommend this car to all.
