Well just the other day happenned to present myself with a gift in terms of the Suzuki Zen Estilo. I purchased the top of the line version of the car VXI to be precise minus the ABS.
Starting from the looks of the car it looks good. and side on rear quarter view side is good rest there is nothing much to write home about .interiors wise you can easily say that it is much better than the car it competes with. Santro.
What with all those beige color interiors and that chunky steering wheel. while the space inside leave much to be desired as in the case of other small hatchbacks . the ac works well and the air flow is good.
Comfort wise the top end VXI is good with all four power windows, defogger and electrically operated side view mirrors which if of great convenience and electronic power steering which feels god at slow speeds and digital odometer . if I m not wrong I think this is the first time maruti has given all four power windows in a small car .good -)
The engine of the car is slightly more refined than that of Wagon R and the engine dynamics of the car is almost same .i will not go much into technical details and will leave that to auto journalists
So lets concentrate on how it drives . the car feels underpowered and when going over 80 kph the engine begines to make noise and is coarse . well the thing which I most dislikes about it is the stick gear shift it behaves recklesly and gets jammed somewhere in between the gearshifts.feel like beating it to hell.nyways .
Moving on the ride quality is bumpy and the overall ground clearance is just ok .try running over small speed breakers and potholes and the bottom gets a whipping.
Overall mileage is good and gives you 14kpl in city riding conditions with the ac running . the interiors feel good and the luggage space at the back is good enough to hold a middle sized suitcase .
The cornering ability gets hampered as compared to the old zen with that tall boy structure.
Overall like every product it has Con And pros but still it is a good buy
